MauriceDEWEY(Formerly of Fred Dewey Butchers) Passed away on 1st April 2026, aged 91 years.

Beloved husband to Margaret and father to John.

Maurice's funeral will be held on Friday 24th April service 10:30am in the Cedar Room at Bretby Crematorium.

Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Maurice will benefit WWF-UK and can be placed in the collection box at the service.

Happy fishing up in heaven Maurice, I know how much you enjoyed it. I remember asking you if you wanted to play bowls or go fishing, fishing was your answer and passion. It was a pleasure having you in our team.

I remember Maurice from playing bowls at Shobnall Community Centre. He was what I would call a true old fashioned gentleman, who loved his bowls nd always game for a laugh.
RIP Maurice safe in the knowledge you will not be forgotten.
